Balkello Woodland is set within a 50 acre working smallholding which is nestled privately in the Sidlaw Hills. We offer a choice of accommodation, our stunning two bedroomed self-catering apartment which is part of an impressive modern country house and our log cabin which is set in its own private grounds.

There is an amazing array of activities close by. Walking in the Sidlaws, cycling on the quiet backroads or visiting Dundee with its wide range  of cutural spots

By car:

From the A90 north of Dundee, take the turning for Tealing and Auchterhouse. Proceed through Tealing and after 3 miles turn right signposted Auchterhouse. Follow the road around to the left and the turning to Balkello Woodland House will be seen on the right side after about 1 mile, after passing Balkello Woods.

Alternatively from the A90 south arriving at Dundee Kingsway take the A923 signposted to Coupar Angus. At Muirhead follow the B954 for a further 2 miles. Upon reaching Auchterhouse follow the road to Kirkton of Auchterhouse, and then towards Tealing. Balkello Woodland House will be seen on the left hand side after 1 mile.

The apartment has its own external door with stair leading to a bright open plan L-shaped living, dining and kitchen area with triple aspect windows and wonderful countryside views
